Before the age of internet I used to wonder who in the world the people were that were voting on the People's Choice Awards, now I know, teeny boppers!
OK not really but based on some of the categories, they definitely cater to the teen sect. I don't think they limit how many times you can vote either so if you have a large and unemployed fan following, your chances of winning are strong.
Now the question is, who nominates the categories? I'm not a person who has a lot of favorites, I can go thru the list of nominees and vote differently 50% of the time depending on my mood. I like, love, dislike or hate but I don't have lots of absolute favorites. I did vote for the Avengers in every category it was nominated for, I really enjoyed that movie but the one vote that made me titter was I voted for Magic Mike in the Favorite Dramatic Movie category. How in the world that movie ended up in that category I have no idea but I just had to vote for it because it made me laugh.
If you would like to be one of the people and vote for your favorites on this awards show that I never watch you can go here. Feel free to campaign for your favorites, maybe you'll sway my non-favorite voting and I'll go back and vote some more. Another show I always voted for was Supernatural. I love that show and they never get any critical attention. Might as well give them fan love.
